An overcast summer day calls for humidity and beautifully lit up photos during this family portrait session with awesome humans and their little munchkins. Our session took place in Brand Park Community in Mission Hills, Ca. where the garden is beautiful and the space carries so much history as it sits right across the street from the historic San Fernando Mission. It is one of my newest favorite hidden gems of the San Fernando Valley. Little Olivia loved running around the maze-like gardens while her baby brother Noah (also called "Chip" because of Olivia's love for Chip in Beauty and The Beast) wobbled around as he tried independence by learning to walk on his own. Here, their Mama is making these little munchkins laugh. And it's like gold to my camera. Just look at them! We're not sure what she was aiming for with this pose, but we'll just call her Captain Olivia for now. Haha. When you tell them to squeeze in together and give kisses! Definitely not what I was aiming for, but I think it's better! Oh, Baby Chip.. you'll learn to love it. Noah, can you please never grow up? Forever daddy's little girl. This session was one for the books because not only are they friends of mine, but they are Clare's family.
So, I suppose they're more like my family, too. <3
