Every feel like your days are turning into months and months are turning into years faster than you can keep up??
Yeah, me too; more so lately as I write up another Month in Review.

Let's dive right in, shall we?

Here are some bullet-points from the past two months:

  • At the beginning of May, I had just came back from a relaxing, gorgeous, and eye opening birthday/road-trip vacation to central California. (If you missed it, you can read and see all the pretty landscape photos here.) So, I was refreshed and ready to take on the start of a new month. But somewhere along the line, I fell a bit short. All the inspiration and relaxation came to halt as soon as I got back and I'm not quite sure where it went.

  • I got really sick a couple of weeks ago, so much that I didn't have a voice. Not one sound came out at one point, and when there was a sound it was just a little squeak or whisper and it went something like "Hi, can I please get a grande soy dirty chai tea latte?" (Except no sound came out, so I just had to point. LOL)

  • Clare and I went fishing in the Redondo Beach Pier which was (to my surprise) a lot of fun!  We took turns sitting on the cooler, had sandwhiches and our Starbucks Double-shots. While she did most of the actual fishing, I was curled up reading Duel with the Devil: The True Story of How Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr Teamed Up to Take on America's First Sensational Murder Mystery by Paul Collins.

  • I launched my very first opt-ins for my email list building strategy. Since I'm creating a wedding party workbook, I figured I might as well give it away for free as I build it little by little. If you're curious what they were, you can still head over to here for my Free Wedding Timeline Guide or my Free Vendor List Template.

  • As you can tell, there's been a trend of blog posts lately and that's because it's summer time and us in the industry call it Wedding Season, which is only fair that I post wedding themed blog posts like writing about Cocktail Hour and a fun Harry Potter-themed wedding reception late last month.

  • I upgraded my Pixieset account (finally), which is an online platform for professional photographers who deliver their images digitally. I'll do a walk-though on how I deliver my digital products on my blog soon!

  • I posted a photo of myself that I've been holding onto because I was a bit self-conscious about, but quickly realized that it wasn't about me. It was actually more empowering for me to post it! You can head over to my Instagram to see which photo it was.

  • Last week, I had the privilege to shoot Clare's brother's family portraits. And I am so excited to share them soon!

Honestly, the past two months just flew by and I didn't even notice. I guess what I need to do is be more present and aware of my surroundings.

But for now, I'll just live up the last couple of days of in the June sunshine. I mean, can you blame me?
