She lived in Canada. He lived in Southern California. What seemed like a long distance friendship slowly turned into a whirlwind of events that led Silvia closer to Fernando. The chemistry between them was incredible, and the love they shared unquestionable. For the first time, I met Silvia and Fernando at a Los Angeles' hidden gem--the Venice Canals. It was 6 a.m. and overcast; we questioned if the sun would come up at all. It was the most perfect time to start our session as all the locals sleep in and the tourists are nowhere to be found. It almost felt like a giant serene paradise for these two to wander.
Being that this was a maternity session, and Silvia was 8 months into her pregnancy we started talking about the kinds of photos she would like to take. This turned into an on-going joke where they said "Can we just take photos as if we're on a date?" We laughed about it, but I knew at that moment: this is gonna be fun.
Content creating for my dear friend, Brittney is always fun. She's always down to be my model when I have an idea or when I find a cute little patch of something to photograph. These are just a few of my favorites from our mini-shoot.
The sun was close to setting, and we had just arrived. Summer had just begun, but the heat was just another day in the suburbs of Los Angeles also known as the San Fernando Valley. This family session took place in the beautiful scenic area of Lake Balboa Park.
Aby, Jonathan and their two beautiful kids, Constantine and Tenzin were ready to take their stroll in the park as soon as they'd arrived. These are a collection of images from their evening.
