They met at a sports bar. They had a conversation. And unintentionally--they fell in love. The rest was only the beginning. Funny enough, the groom and I have known each other since the 4th grade. When asked whether how long we've known each other, Alex's response will almost always be.."6th grade". But that's okay. You're forgiven. Haha. Like many of my couples and clients, I was approached via social media about my photography business. Alex and Whitney told me that he had been engaged and are to have their wedding this summer. Immediately, we discussed their big day and decided a date to meet. After giving them all I've got, showing them how invested I am/feel about their beautiful day, they booked me as their wedding photographer! After about a week (or two), we came up with our engagement session location, date and time. The location was the famously known Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park located up in Agua Dulce just northeast of Santa Clarita, California. We met there as the sun was close to sunset, climbed some rocks (and yes, Whitney did it in heels like a champ!) and we began shooting. The rest, like I said is only the beginning... This is the beautiful family. I can't get over how adorable two-year-old little Jaxon is! Just look at him! Thank you to Alex, Whitney and Jaxon for allowing me to capture your engagement and family portraits for you. I can't wait to be apart of your special day...it'll be nothing short of magical. <3
