It was raining and it was cold.. okay, it was cold to us Angelenos...a whopping 64 degrees kind-of-cold.
I had my first newborn session in 3 years and I was so excited to get these portraits done for my sweet client, Vanessa. Baby Diego Alexander was born just after Valentine's Day (the sweetest Valentine if you ask me) to first-time parents and they couldn't be more full of love for this little guy. Before I arrived to their home for their in-home session, I gave Mommy Vanessa everything she needed to prepare: a space by a big window, a warm environment, a sleeping baby and an open-mind. Man, she totally delivered. Baby Diego was asleep as a... well, a baby. Haha. This little Valentine is going to make you go awwwwwww...
This couldn't have gone anymore perfect. He was asleep for most of the photos, but just when we needed this little human to wake up, his little eyes opened up as if to say "Hello, World!" Okay, maybe we had to nudge him and Dad had to change his diapers to get him to open those eyes, but it worked!
But of course, it wasn't long until little Diego got super comfortable and fell asleep yet again. I mean, I'm so not mad.. just look at that crochet elephant outfit! It's seriously the cutest!
